Community Library License

1Purpose of This License

This Community Library License ("License") governs content that users voluntarily publish to the Q2T Suite Community Library. It is incorporated into, and forms part of, our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given to them in the Terms of Service.

The Community Library is designed to encourage collaboration among educators by making it easier to discover, adapt, and reuse educational resources, reducing the time required to create classroom materials.

2Voluntary Participation

By default, all User Content is private and visible only to the account owner and users the owner explicitly authorizes. Publishing content to the Community Library is always voluntary.

Choosing not to publish content, or not to participate in the Community Library, does not limit your ability to access or use the core features of the Service, except where a specific feature expressly depends on Community Library participation.

3What This License Grants

By voluntarily publishing content to the Community Library, you grant Q2T Suite and all users of the Service a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to:

• access;
• use;
• import;
• copy;
• reproduce;
• modify;
• adapt;
• translate;
• combine with other educational resources;
• create derivative works;
• distribute within the Service;
• display;
• and otherwise use that content as part of the Service.

This license is intended to support collaboration between educators and to help build a shared educational resource library for the Q2T Suite community. Users understand and agree that Community Library content may be freely copied, modified, adapted, and incorporated into other educational resources within the Service without attribution or compensation.

4Imported Copies

When another user imports Community Library content into their own account, a separate working copy is created. Imported copies become independent User Content of the importing user, subject to this License and the Terms of Service.

Removing the original publication only prevents future users from importing the original published version — it does not affect copies previously imported by other users, which may continue to be used, modified, shared, or otherwise managed by the users who imported them.

5Your Responsibilities as a Publisher

Before publishing content to the Community Library, you must confirm that you have the legal right to publish it. By publishing content, you represent and warrant that:

• you own the content or have sufficient legal rights to publish it;
• publication does not violate applicable law;
• publication does not knowingly infringe the intellectual property or other legal rights of any third party.

Q2T Suite does not verify ownership of Community Library content before publication. Any dispute regarding ownership, copyright, licensing, or other legal rights remains the responsibility of the parties involved.

6Content Moderation

To maintain a safe and useful educational environment, Q2T Suite reserves the right to review, remove, restrict, reclassify, or refuse Community Library content that we reasonably believe:

• violates the Terms of Service or this License;
• infringes intellectual property rights;
• contains unlawful material;
• contains malware or harmful software;
• promotes fraud or deception;
• contains spam;
• is abusive, offensive, or inappropriate for an educational environment;
• otherwise presents legal, security, or operational concerns.

Q2T Suite is not obligated to monitor all Community Library content but reserves the right to do so at its discretion, and may immediately remove or disable access to content where necessary to protect users, comply with law, or address security threats.

7Copyright Complaints

If you believe Community Library content infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, you may submit a notice as described in Section 15.4 (Copyright Complaints) of our Terms of Service.

8Future Marketplace

Publishing content to the Community Library does not automatically make that content available for sale or entitle the creator to compensation. Any future Marketplace or creator program allowing educators to license, sell, subscribe to, or otherwise monetize educational resources will be governed by separate terms, as described in Section 13.8 of our Terms of Service.

9Official Q2T Resources

Q2T Suite may create, publish, curate, modify, or distribute its own educational resources within the Community Library, developed using general educational concepts, publicly available information, anonymized usage patterns, common instructional practices, user feedback, or artificial intelligence, consistent with Section 13.9 of our Terms of Service.

10Relationship to the Terms of Service

This License should be read together with Section 12 (User Content) and Section 13 (Content Sharing and Community Library) of our Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between this License and the Terms of Service regarding the Community Library specifically, this License governs to the extent of that conflict.

11Changes to this License

We may update this License from time to time. Where required by applicable law, we will provide reasonable notice before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Community Library after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised License.
